So people are finally getting a little annoyed, aye? I like this! Less butt-kissing more realistic oppinions! Livejournal is not that bad after all!

In the light of what I know now maybe I should go back to Severus/Lily after all. Like someone said It's almost canon now. And I who was considered crazy...

So I 've finished my exams and now I'm free to enjoy my SS/HG readings. I really want to mention that the sshg_exchange community is providing me with wonderful stories and hope they will keep on doing this all summer. I only wish I could have entered some prompts for these talented authors.
I want to start writing fanfics at least some drabbles for starters...

I realized that everyone is speaking about this serial and I have no idea what it is about. As I'm far away from the civilized world, in Romania and I'm not a TV fanatic I am totally unaware of new or not so new television serials that are very fashionable nowadays. I must confess that I was never that curious to see one single episode of Lost and Heroes is a serial I just heard about in a newspaper.
When I was younger I used to watch all sorts of TV serials like Ally McBeal or NYPD but now I don't have the patience to watch an episode daily or weekly. Sometimes I'm out or I'm busy and then I get nervous or I panic because I missed one episode. So I kind of renounced seeing TV serials. They're catcky and once I see some episodes I know I'll get an addiction.
I still want to see what's with this Doctor Who thing and if it has anything to do with Harry Potter...

I really don't get the measures that livejournal is taking nowadays! I mean it's such a confusion, I hear that communities are deleted or banned or something but can't seem to get the logic of all this! Is there an official announcement stating the reasons for these measures? Are all fanfiction and rpg communities closed? Wouldn't it have been more reasonable to just give a friendly advice for starters to all communities and journals that post indecent or insulting things and then take the measures?
Oh, one last question: how many people do the guys behind the livejournal project think they are going to loose after this thing? I'd say many because I for starters stay here mainly to read fanfiction, any kind of fanfiction.

Lucius Malfoy? Why?????????? I can't like him, he's eeeeeeeeeevil! But he looks too damn good to be ignored!

I found a Hermione/Severus fan fiction that I truly enjoy reading. It's called What E'er Therein Is Promised by Deeble and you can find it on the Ashwinder site. I like it very much because I find the plot quite interesting and original. It's about Hermione seeking to become Severus' apprentice and signing a contract with him that gets her more than she bargained for. Don't want to give too many spoilers away just in case anybody wants to read it. I also like it because it presents a mean and deceitful Snape but at the same time this meanness is not pushed to the extreme and he knows how to show his human side as well.
I only hope the story will be good till the end.

I realized that I don't care on whose side Severus Snape really is. I will keep on loving him anyway. Even as a ruthless and convinced Death Eater he's still the best damn character in the entire series. Even if he dies, I hope there will be people out there who will write good fan fiction keeping him alive. So I won't bother reading all sorts of theories regarding his loyalties. I will stick with him in any case.

Well, even though I don't really think I'll wait until they send me the book, I made a pre order at a local book store for part seven of the Harry Potter series. Just in case it gets crowded or they are out of stock. But I don't think people will rush to buy the original version. They just go for the translated one which seems logical to me.
I must mention that that if they keep the same person who translates it's gonna be messy. I couldn't read any of the translated books. Maybe it's just me but translating Snape's name in Romanian was it for me.
Anyway don't know if this pre-order actually helped but I did it.

Another thing I noticed recently: Many Harry Potter fans are also Pirates of the Caribbean fans. At least this is what I could see from their icons which flash POTC sometimes. That's a nice thing to know, at least I'm not the only one who goes from one fandom to another. I wonder what other fandoms are of high interest on livejournal...I also secretly wonder what other people have listed on their friends page  ^ quite ashamed^
I could see that LOTR kind of died after the movies and that was quite sad. Not many Hannibal Lecter addicts either.
I also wonder what will happen with the POTC fandom after the release of the third part. Hope it's not gonna die out.

Glad to find out that the great Romanian actor Marcel Iures is starring in Pirates of the Caribbean At World's end as Armand le Corsair. He's a superb actor and it is not his first time at Hollywood. In Romania he's a real star! Hope that he will appear in many more blockbusters.

So I'm thinking about book seven and JKR. Will it be good? Will it raise up to the expectations? My personal opinion of this certain author is quite negative. As a literature teacher I must admit to myself that she is not an excellent author. Her books are readable, enjoyable even, but she makes mistakes that started to annoy me. I gave one of the books to a fellow literary critic (one who actually has something to say in this business) and he was not even able to read it. Of course his standards are quite high and he is used with a lot more difficult books but his observations regarding this particular author were common sense. So is JKR a fraud? Is her skill and literary talent or competence below the average standards? The impression that she gave me from her interviews was that she is very confused, does not have a proper argumentation for her actions in writing and is misleading her writers quite bluntly. Her "clues" for book seven are a mess. My guess is that when she was asked she herself had no idea of what would happen and she was tacitly supporting all sorts of theories because of this. Also the amount of attention that she gets from everyone is annoying. There are REAL authors who don't get any attention and they truly deserve it. Let's not even mention the money business.
Anyway thing is I read the books as if they were written by an anonymous writer strictly because I'm interested in Severus Snape. He is probably the only good character in the series. Though he's awfully exaggerated, too.
Sometimes I hate myself for indulging into this kind of books.Today is one of those days. Today I can say that Harry Potter sucks really bad and that JKR had better get back to her cooking and family life rather than writing. Today I will go back to Shakespeare, T.S.Eliot and Faulkner.
Tomorrow is another day though...

I've been so damn busy these days that I am kind of sick and tired of work and writing stupid college papers. That's why I started reading some Harry Potter fanfics and suddenly it hit me:Severus Snape and Hermione Granger? Why not? Though I think it's practically impossible now at the end of HBP but after a few years...
At first I rejected this ship but now it seems to grow on me. Did some searches and now I'm all into reading fanfics. Though the majority of fics that I've found are quite absurd and out of characters some other are readable. My take on this ship is that Severus and Hermione meet a few years after the war (considering that they both survive and Severus is cleared of all accusations) maybe at Hogwarts and discover that they have something in common. But as I'm not a huge fan of Hermione as she is built by JKR, with a few changes the pair would work out fine. But the girl really must grow up and learn to deal with a real man like Severus.
And then ANYONE is better than that awful boy Ronald Weasley. If JKR keeps them two together in the end then Hermione's future is doomed. I see her as more independent and growing a red head family is quite a nightmare. What can I say, Ron is just not fit for her. He needs at least 20 or 30 years to grow up and match her. So why wait so long when a perfectly intelligent man is waiting for her? And they could both vent their frustrations about their bloodlines in a perfect sexual relationship. Ahhh...I'm a naughty girl after all!

I think I've been stamped. I'm Ron. RON? WTF? I HATE RON!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus, I must be doing something wrong. Otherwise I don't get it.

I really don't get how these people sort you. I mean it didn't seem to me that the questions were so clear that after you read the answers you can say: Oh, that's a I don't know what. Seriously now. But then again I guess you can be however you want to be no matter  what house you get sorted in.
 I WILL BE SLYTHERIN TO THE BONE, IN HUFFLEPUFF, GRYFFINDOR, RAVENCLAW OR ANYWHERE!

I don't really understand why my journal looks so bloody awful. Other people's journals look better, they have all sorts of links, pictures in the background etc. I wonder how I could do that? Is it a paid section?
